Life is always moving forwards, changing, growing ... and I felt it was time for a change here as well. I'm finding myself less and less excited about BSG and more interested in finding new things to explore and wield my imagination on. I will be finishing Bright, Shiny Futures because even if no one else is interested in finding out how it ends (and there are definitely a few who are), I need to prove to myself that I can do it. The story is already over 160,000 words and is the longest thing I've written to date. I'm very proud of it.

However, my interests are moving towards other shows, Chuck, Burn Notice and Legend of the Seeker are the main ones at the moment. I went looking for a new header yesterday and though I began searching for a Chuck one initially, I couldn't find one and so decided to use this lovely LOTS one (made by starpollo) instead. I wasn't so keen on the show when I began watching it but I've watched 12 episodes so far and am liking it more and more as it goes along. You may have noticed I'm using a lot more non-BSG icons as well.

I've also decided to lock this journal from now on, given the drama that's being spread about me. I don't wish to have just anyone read what I write anymore. I think I'll be happier staying within my own community of friends. If you're one of the people who has friended me and I haven't friended you back and you want to keep on reading here, drop me a note and let me know. All of my previous entries have been locked as of yesterday.

Spring seems to finally be here and I'm looking forward to changing and growing with it. There is a time for everything and my time with BSG is nearly done.
